With medical, automotive, and electronic applications continuously requiring smaller diameter holes, the new Micro Burraway series tools will deburr both sides of even the smallest holes in a single pass. Suitable for materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, and even composites, these micro deburring tools are applicable to holes ranging from .040″ (1.00 mm) to .092″ (2.33 mm).

The Micro Burraway series is designed with a flexible blade that retracts into the arbor to accommodate the hole diameter, featuring inexpensive, replaceable cartridges including blade and shaft, and proper compression. Cartridges are available in different sizes.

The two-piece construction allows you to remove and replace a cartridge in seconds with a convenient adjustment screw that secures the cartridge’s brass sleeve to the holder, while the micro tool is still inside the shaft.

Each cartridge contains an HSS blade that allows you to deburr countless holes before the cartridge needs to be replaced. The crowned and polished top surface of the blade will not damage the inner surface of the hole. When the blade wears out, simply remove the cartridge and install a new one.

Micro Burraway is offered with two blade options; Standard double-acting (front and back cutting) or Back-acting (back cutting only).
