The Flipcut tool is designed to perform back-spotfacing or back-chamfering operations in a single setup. The cutter extends with right-hand tool rotation to cut the back spot face or back chamfer. Left-hand spindle rotation initiates positive mechanical closure of the cutter; centrifugal force assists the closing action. When the cutter is fully closed within the spindle pocket, the tool can be easily withdrawn from the hole. <\/p>\n

The Flipcut tool is designed for robust use in all types of facility equipment and all types of production environments. Tools for hole sizes .312 inch and larger (inch program) and tools for hole sizes 8.00 mm and larger (metric program) have internal coolant capacity. <\/p>\n

Flipcut cutters feature a brazed carbide design. The steel body absorbs shock. The brazed carbide Flipcut cutting edge dissipates heat for exceptional cutting performance. <\/p>\n
