Yes, this is correct! A vacuum system that provides options for applications on lathes or rotary tables that cannot be achieved with traditional methods. Although initially designed for thin materials and composites, we have discovered that with the use of our newly designed vacuum grippers, we can work more aggressively than expected. These grippers will leave marks on the back of the workpiece, but in some cases will increase lateral load by more than 400%! The grippers can be removed/lowered/positioned as needed in the 32 M6 threaded holes on the face, including the ability to easily change the size of the vacuum chamber by removing/reinstalling the gripping material from one of 9 channels. Always select the largest diameter possible for your application.

The shaft manufactured from solid stock provides concentricity between the shaft and vacuum chamber, increased rigidity, and the extra material needed when special modifications are required. For example: reducing the face plate or shaft diameter, as well as mounting mirror image machining of the workpiece to the front face for special applications.

Rotary fitting designed for 1,100 RPM to connect the fixture, however general machining applications and common sense should be considered when using this product.
