Ellipti-Bur ® is designed for deburring irregular hole surfaces, such as those created by drilling on curved surfaces or drilling at an angle. Ellipti-Bur enables the user to perform these challenging deburring operations quickly and accurately without fixtures, jigs, or special operator skills.

The blade remains free to respond to the irregular surface geometry of the hole and allows for both radial and axial displacement resulting from the elliptical shape of angled drilled holes and axial displacement (“rise and fall”) from the saddle-shaped configuration of drilled holes on cylindrical surfaces.

This automatic self-guiding feature creates a relatively uniform break at the edge of the hole.
